"Grand Funk" (aka, "The Red Album") (1970) - In the very early days of the 1970's, I thought this was the "heaviest" thing I'd ever heard, and wore this album out on my turntable...contains the classics "In Need", "Inside Looking Out" and "Paranoid".  Grand Funk Railroad was the first band that I ever paid to see "live" (in Memphis, Tennessee)...the opening act was another Terry Knight production, Bloodrock.
